VITED text messaging privacy

This notice covers VITED's optional text-invitation program. We collect your mobile number, the consent wording version, request and confirmation times, and opt-out or resubscription records. Confirmation requires a text sent from your number. Incoming provider message identifiers support verification and prevent duplicate processing.
How we use it
We use these records to verify your choice, permit or block event invitation and reminder texts, honor STOP requests, investigate delivery problems, and document consent. Invitation messages also contain the event title and your private RSVP link. Selecting contacts saves only the guests a host selects.
Sharing
Twilio and mobile carriers process phone numbers, message content and delivery information to provide messaging. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS consent, or opt-in records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process them only to provide and secure this service. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.
Retention and your choices
Unconfirmed requests expire after 24 hours and are removed within 30 days. Confirmed consent and opt-out evidence is retained to operate the program and honor your choices. Reply STOP to stop texts. For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, email support@getvited.com. We may retain limited suppression and audit information to honor opt-outs or meet legal obligations.
SMS is optional. Your RSVP does not depend on opting in, and your guest list is not published on this page.
